I think some details easy to ignore from this movie.When i first see these words from the smart boy named Stanley ,i was shocked.
He said:"I'm not a doll. I'm not silly and cute.I'm smart.That should make me something, so people can watch how silly it is that he's smart!I knew, I knew things."
If i know something beyond adults, you will think that I'm special,strange and unbelievable? If I just want to go to bathroom? No one can answer his question.
In our world,some people and something sacrifice to other's entertainment. You always hear:"hey,that gay is genuis"or "she married a deaf husband" and so on. When we mock at others,maybe they judge us at same time. We play the comedy together and we all wanted to see other's joke that make fun of ours life.To be a clown,someone struggling and someone giving up.
In the end of the movie, Stanley said to his father:"Dad,you have to be nicer to me." Yes,of course,dad have to take good care of child.But, no matter others behaviour,you must be nicer to yourselves.
"We maybe through with the past,but the past isn't through with us."this sentence maybe wrong. We have been changed in the time of past,as we go through it.
